I like and the serialization format in my reading and I still hope that this series will jump to four star status But so far no cigar The story about an alien first contact is presented from a fresh perspective details oriented or maybe in between major events would be a accurate description Remember when the movie Pulp Fiction came along everybody was surprised to see that Tarantino was showcasing almost exclusively what happen in between the actionstory moving scenes than those scenes It was fresh and innovative For me The Contact series does the same thing relating the action of the scientific community the military shenanigans etc As I mention in reviews of the previous episodes the writing style of the author is very clean and easy to read but I found that the emotions of the story did not translate very well Now I think it s the angle of the story then the author s writing that is to blame The Pulp Fiction approach to the story is why I like the series but it is also why I can t connect to it as well Now up to episode four
