I listened to this audio book I checked it out of my local public library where it s listed as an urban romance This genre is really outside of my normal reading I picked this at random for a short auto trip What I don t understand is when romance ends and erotica begins I m fine with erotica but I was surprised to find this offered in my public library without any warnings of the graphic sexual content Its also not mentioned in the GR description or in any of the reviews I read about it If I was the parent of 10 to 16 years old child I wouldn t be very happy to find her him reading or listening to this bookAs to the book itself I divide into two parts the erotic sections and the non erotic sections The erotic sections are good There s a nightclub scene about one third into the book that is very good In my mind it s the highlight of the erotic action Presenting it so early lessened the sexual tension for the rest of the book and made those scenes less meaningful The non erotic sections are well written but the characters and their situations aren t interesting The male characters are fantasy figures which I guess is standard in this genre The book has a appropriate ending a nice ending but then there s a 45 minute postscript out of an 8 hour book that brought the whole book down emotionally and soured it for me I see there s a seuel to this book Would I revisit these characters and their problems again Probably not Would I read another book by this author for the eroticism Probably Knight Kyle and the Magic Silver Lance public library where it s listed as an urban romance This genre is really outside of my normal reading I ueer Theory and Brokeback Mountain picked this at random for a short auto trip What I don t understand is when romance ends and erotica begins I m fine with erotica but I was surprised to find this offered in my The Truth Against the World public library without any warnings of the graphic sexual content Its also not mentioned in the GR description or in any of the reviews I read about it If I was the Making Him Sweat Taking Him Down parent of 10 to 16 years old child I wouldn t be very happy to find her him reading or listening to this bookAs to the book itself I divide into two Judaism As a Civilization Toward a Reconstruction of American Jewish Life parts the erotic sections and the non erotic sections The erotic sections are good There s a nightclub scene about one third into the book that is very good In my mind it s the highlight of the erotic action Presenting it so early lessened the sexual tension for the rest of the book and made those scenes less meaningful The non erotic sections are well written but the characters and their situations aren t interesting The male characters are fantasy figures which I guess is standard in this genre The book has a appropriate ending a nice ending but then there s a 45 minute Badger's Parting Gifts postscript out of an 8 hour book that brought the whole book down emotionally and soured it for me I see there s a seuel to this book Would I revisit these characters and their Ostende 1936 Sommer der Freundschaft problems again Probably not Would I read another book by this author for the eroticism Probably
